I haven't done anything knitting-related in ages

I have, however, been working like crazy up at the theatre.  I stitched for Sound of Music this summer, and am currently making patterns and cutting for Enemy of the People.  Normally I'd be getting stuff done on the commute, but I don't have time to go to the yarn store either...

The other day I made a garter-stitch scarf and was actually proud of myself D:

No new designs, but stuff is getting done

My latest project is a vintage blouse from Sirdar Spinning, using sock yarn and size 1 needles.  In my Ravelry notebook, I've called it the Suicide Jumper because it'll probably make me want to fling myself out a window.

My yarn here is Dream in Colors Smooshy, in "Black Parade".  Whoever developed this colorway is a genius -- the subtle variegation of the different shades of black adds a lot to the lace pattern without making it look busy at all.

As for modifications, I'll probably put the button placket in the center front, and have it extend all the way down to the waist ribbing.  And depending on how far my yarn lasts, I might shorten the waist ribbing to just a couple inches, and add a peplum or skirt.  I'm really excited about wearing this...

Today, instead of accomplishing anything useful, I played around with Opencanvas.  Of course, my cat demanded final approval... she is the harshest editor.

I did add my profile to the website, though.
